We only hear about time travel in sci-fi movies, but a photo that takes on a life of its own on the Internet is putting that theory to the test. Users are hotly debating whether a man could have used a mobile phone in 1943.

Evidence of time travel?
Some people believe that time travel must be real after spotting a suspicious man in a photo from 1943. According to occultists, he stands out from the crowd by checking his smartphone, although there seems to be a more likely explanation. The picture was taken on Towan Beach in Cornwall, UK during the Second World War.
Social media users were quick to spot the mysterious man in the middle of the photo wearing a shabby brown suit. “Um…I think so, or the guy is checking his phone. In the 1950s?” one of the discussants asks in astonishment.
“Good point. It is clear that the shot is of a time traveling tourist checking his mobile device. We finally have the proof we needed – that time travel is real. In old photographs, we can now see things that previously escaped us,” another pointed out.

However, other commentators have dismissed the idea of a man from the future as absurd and claim that he is merely rolling a cigarette or winding his watch. But the funniest observation in the comments came from a person who wrote: “Forget your phone. This guy is on the beach in a jacket!!!’
Conspiracies in the form of myths, rumors and legends accompany man throughout his history and are commonly part of pop culture. However, in recent years they have gained more reach due to social media. This is not the case with the various guaranteed evidence of time travel that will never be confirmed.
