The founder of the Wagner group Evgeny Prigozhin, who was expelled after staging a failed armed uprising against Russia’s military leadership, has been invited back to the country to collect his vast arsenal of weapons, the New York Post reported.
He, Yevgeny Prigozhin, was seen yesterday evening arriving by car at the FSB office in St. Petersburg, accompanied by his bodyguards, according to local news site Fontanka.ru.
Only a few hours earlier, Prigozhin had been formally invited by Russian security services to pick up his arsenal of weapons seized during the June 24 search of his estate in a suburb of St. Petersburg.

Prigozhin, 62, was also given back a Glock pistol engraved with his name that was given to him by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
