People’s Artist of Russia Yevgeny Mironov turns 55 on November 29. For the first time in many years, he will celebrate his birthday not on the stage of the State Theater of Nations, which he has been running for 16 years, and not on the set, but in an exotic country. “For three days we will go with our son to Egypt to see the pyramids. I promised him this trip a long time ago. So he gave us both a gift, ”said the master.

Mironov allowed himself only three days of vacation due to two premieres – on the stage and on the screen. At the same time, the film “Jeanne” produced by Yevgeny’s production company “Third Rome” was released. In the picture, he plays the oligarch. And there was also the premiere of the comedy “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf”, where the actor plays the main role – Professor George. While creating this production, Mironov learned that he was suffering from paranoia.
– We had a consultant, a famous psychologist who helped analyze the characters in Albee’s play. The playwright gave diagnoses to each hero. In order to correctly convey the state and world of the characters, director Danila Chashchin turned to specialists for help. I was diagnosed with paranoia, – admitted the popular artist on the air of Avtoradio.
As for the film “Jeanne” with Ksenia Rappoport in the title role, Mironov plays a small but colorful role – a bag of money from the 90s with red cheeks and a belly. It is not easy to recognize an artist because of this metamorphosis and plastic trick. A thin, bright, modest artist and his plump character are antipodes.
– As a producer of the film, I gave myself a gift – to play my opposite, – said the artist.
In the same 90s, Mironov himself had a hard time. He told about it in Fyodor Bondarchuk’s program “Cinema in Detail”:
– I studied. And my mother had to collect and sell bottles to feed my sister and me. She helped me, as well as other students from the provinces, my teacher Oleg Pavlovich Tabakov. He always brought us food from other countries … Then, with my big fee, I bought an apartment for my sister Oksana (she is a dancer). After all, she’s a girl. And now I have it all.
Recall that the son of Evgeny Vitalyevich, who had never been married, was rumored to be born from a surrogate mother.
