The release date of Cyberpunk 2077 is fast approaching. Only a few more days before players around the world can roam the streets of Night City. In this article, we summarize everything you need to know before December 10, the official release date of the game.
Exit time
CD Projekt Red has thought of players wishing to buy, or having already pre-ordered, Cyberpunk 2077 in digital format. Indeed, the Polish studio has communicated the game’s release times, depending on the country.
Thus, the game will be available from December 10 at midnight on consoles (Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5). En outre, for the PC and Stadia versions, you will have to wait 1 hour.
Date of preloading
Preload the game before the official release date of Cyberpunk 2077 maybe a solution, if you want to start it the minute it is released. Many players have reported on social media that they have already downloaded it, and are patiently waiting for December 10, 2020. CD Projekt Red has communicated the pre-loading dates of Cyberpunk 2077. Note also that preloads are already available on Xbox, since December 3.
For those who have pre-ordered the game on PC, you will be able to preload the game on GOG (the CD Projekt Red platform) on Monday, December 7, starting at noon. On Steam, pre-loads will be available on December 7 at 5 p.m. ET. As for PlayStation players, you will have to wait until Tuesday, December 8 (no time indicated).
How to preload the game on Xbox
As said before, it is already possible to preload Cyberpunk 2077 on your Xbox console. To preload your game on Xbox, just download the new Xbox app to your phone. Configure your console by clicking on the tab at the top right.
Look for the game Cyberpunk 2077 in the search bar. Once found, you will be able to start preloading.
