With electronic identity, you can access various documents. In the “Health” section, the International Electronic Vaccination Certificate is available, as well as the International Electronic Vaccination Certificate for children. Both documents are issued free of charge through the portal.
Important: You can only download the certificate of the person entering the website and that of your children, not those of other people.
At Migrations, you can present the electronic certificate or the printed international vaccination card. Both documents are valid.
The electronic certificate is available in two languages (Spanish and English), it has a barcode and a QR code. Migrations can scan the QR code to confirm its validity, if necessary.
The International Electronic Vaccination Certificate can be downloaded as many times as necessary, but the document is generated only once a day.
In this electronic document, there is separate information regarding vaccination against yellow fever, a mandatory dose to leave and enter the country, and the other recommended vaccines (anti-polio and measles). For this information to be reflected in the electronic certificate, the data must be uploaded to the Electronic Vaccination Registry System (RVe).
We answer doubts
•If you do not have a vaccination certificate that confirms that you have already received the dose against yellow fever, is a medical certificate, signed and sealed by a doctor, stating the date and batch of the vaccine I received valid?
No, it is not valid. This certificate cannot be transcribed into the system or onto a printed card. Therefore, if you must travel and cannot prove with a vaccination card that you have received the dose against yellow fever, you must go to the nearest vaccination center ten days before the trip and get vaccinated against the disease to be protected. and access the international vaccination certificate.
•If you have the international certificate or any vaccination card showing that you received the yellow fever vaccine, but in the portal It does not appear, what should be done?
To generate the updated electronic certificate, the physical card must be taken to any vaccination center of the Ministry of Health or to a private service that uses the RVe (Sanatorio La Costa, Sanatorio Británico and Migone), so that they transcribe that information into the system and, once Updated information will be reflected in the digital certificate.

Go to the nearest vaccination center. When you get vaccinated, you register in the system and that will be reflected in the portal. You can also request the printed international certificate (it is delivered in district and regional hospitals and maternal and child centers, as well as in the regional vaccination center of the XVIII RS – Capital and in the private centers La Costa, Británico and Migone).

•Can electronic identity be created by anyone living in the country?
The electronic identity can be created by any Paraguayan/foreigner with Paraguayan identity card, older.

•From what year have the records been digitized?
The yellow fever vaccination records for all of Paraguay have been digitalized (uploaded to the RVe System) since 2022.
In Asunción, (XVIII Health Region – Capital) they have been loaded since the second half of November 2018. Any person who has been vaccinated or vaccinated their children at this vaccination center from that date onwards no longer needs to go to the vaccination center, since that the record is digitized.
