  • Strong coaching duo: Coach Lea “Lea One” Fitzen returns to
  • E LIKE EASY E-SPORTS. Together with Lothar “Kxng” Schadrin, who changes from player to coach, she will train the team in the future.
  • Digital energy provider E WIE EINFACH continues to pursue a greener gaming approach and is expanding it further

New year, new me. E WIE EINFACH E-Sports takes that literally and will present a completely new team for the season in 2023 – including new coaches. Simon “Ventair” Tschammer, Patrick “Obsess” Engelmann, Ardian “Nite” Spahiu, Adrian “Tazaku” Steiner and Maximilian “Pan” Abels form the team around the new coaches Lothar “Kxng” Schadrin and Lea “Lea One” Fitzen.

Commitment to green gaming

The digital energy provider has been supporting e-sports with its own team since 2021. Since then, the green electricity provider has attached great importance to sustainable gaming, both to green electricity while gaming and when the team travels on match days. Last year, E WIE SIMPACH gave the child a name: Under the “Greener Gaming” approach, the company compensates the entire league’s CO2e emissions and draws attention to more sustainable gaming.

Also this year we are expanding our Greener Gaming approach. We continue to cooperate with ClimatePartner and will focus on projects that combine local environmental protection with an international compensation measure,” says Katja Steger, Managing Director of E WIE SIMPLE. In addition, E WIE EINFACH will also launch partnerships that meet the demands of a sustainable gaming scene.

New coaches with gaming experience provide a breath of fresh air

For E WIE EINFACH E-Sports, the past season came to an end early in the year: the team was eliminated in the preliminary round of the Prime League Supercup. That called for a change; not only in the player but also in the coaching position:

So dares the longtime player Lothar “Kxng” Schadrin the step from an active playing career to coaching. “After 10 years of competitive League of Legends experience, I’ve gained enough experience to be on the sidelines helping next-gen pro players make their way to the top,” like Lothar. He wants his boys to play smart and think ahead. It is elementary to put yourself in the position of the opposing team and to use the available resources as efficiently as possible. “It’s important to me to work with the team to find the style for our game that suits us and at the same time promises the greatest possible success.”

Lothar “Kxng” Schadrin will be there together with Coachin Lea “Lea One” Fitzen form a strong duo at the head of the team. The 22-year-old is one of the few women in e-sports. But she doesn’t lack experience either, as she has been actively playing League of Legends for over eight years. She has already celebrated successes at Schalke 04 and reached the Prime League final with the team in summer 2022. “Lea One” is now returning to E WIE EINFACH – the organization that was the first in e-sports to hire a female coach.

Top transfers for the player team at the start of the Prime League Spring Split

The team realigns ahead of the start of the Prime League Spring Split:

Acts as a top laner Simon “Ventair” Tschammer. His success and experience speak for themselves: A few years ago, the 23-year-old won numerous titles in the German scene with EURONICS Gaming. He spent the Summer Split and Super Cup 2022 as a regular top planner for the Berlin organization BIG. He finished fourth in the Prime League with Team BIG in the summer of 2022.

In the jungle position he is supported by the former Eintracht Spandau player Patrick “Obsess” Engelmann. In 2020 he won the Summer Split and the Grand Final with MOUZ. Patrick was also able to reach the semi-finals of the EU Masters with the team. In the 2022 season he played for Eintracht Spandau and finished runners-up in the Prime League in the spring split.

After a year and a title win in the Polish Ultraliga with AGO ROGUE Ardian “Nite” Spahiu return to the German-speaking top league and enrich the E WIE EINFACH team as a midlaner. Previously, Adrian was a multiple German champion in the MOUZ team and, as part of Gamer Legion, managed to qualify for the EU Masters several times and even reached the EU Masters final in 2020.

He’s been around since Prime League’s first year: bot laners Adrian “Tazaku” Steiner. The 22-year-old played with “Ventair” for Euronics in 2021 before joining the Movistar Riders in the Spanish SuperLiga for a year. There he reached the playoffs with his team. The move back to the Prime League follows.

Completed in the role of Support Maximilian “Pan” Abels the E WIE EINFACH team on the bot lane. He is the rookie of the team. Maximilian won the second division of the SuperLiga with Guasones in the summer. He then rose through relegation to the top Spanish league. At E WIE EINFACH E-Sports, Pan will make his Prime League debut.

The new roster impresses with a mixture of experience and thirst for success and has the potential to become the best German-speaking team. The aim is to become Prime League champion and thus pave the way to the EU Masters.
