The data on the taxation of employees’ bonuses are changing. The government is launching a bill for tax-free up to 300 euros per month for tips received by workers in health care establishments (cafes, cafes, restaurants, bars, etc.).
It is noted that the issue of tax-free gratuities came to the surface due to the rapid increase in electronic transactions and the massive interconnection of cash registers with POS.
Employers are forced to declare – as they always have been obliged to – the tips received by their employees, so that they are taxed like their salary.

Giorgos Kourasis, Vice-President of the Panhellenic Federation of Restaurants & Related Professions, spoke to the “MEGA Time Society” about the pourboir and what is planned.
