Tangana is marked by an aesthetic with a lot of tints and nods to Spain Caní: the aesthetics of a patriarchal man, hair on chest and, apparently, traditional ». Something that perhaps many did not know is that this responds to a widespread trend: «This aesthetic is actually current and very much in trend in certain nuclei of insiders in the Madrid capital since 2017. It began to become fashionable from that time on in venues like Sala Cocó or other ‘trash’ venues where reggaeton and trap are the common thread of that society ”, he says.
To create an ‘outfit’, C. Tangana uses the inspiration of some of the most prestigious designers, mixed with the occasional nod to Spanish fashion: «This style that the artist defends has come to stay and is endorsed by firms luxury brands such as Gucci, Fendi, D&G and some nations such as Palomo Spain, María Escoté and Ana Locking, among others ». It is a style where straight cut and pleated trousers to match blazers and cotton tank tops are a ‘must have’. Also the jackets with sports pants or tracksuit. XXL jewels in solid gold and Castilian shoes with string socks usually complete the look, ”says Jesús Reyes.
The interpreter of ‘You stopped loving me’ does not leave anyone indifferent with a style that, like it or not, is well valued and this is made clear by the CEO of CoolHuntingMadrid: «An aesthetic that C. Tangana not only shines in everyone of his video clips, also in his public outings and that, personally, seem like a success to me. His image and his art represent 100% the culture and lifestyle of the generation Z, who idolize the retro fashion of the 80s, 90s and 2000s ».
