Everyone watches movies in a different way, Iwala Babu said his freedom: Dileesh Pothan
Director and actor Dileesh Pothan reacts to actor Evala Babu’s comments about the film Mukundan Unni Associates. Dileesh said that everyone sees the film in a different way and Ivala Babu’s opinion is his freedom. Dileesh Pothan said that the impact of the film is personal and the director cannot insist on reacting in this way. The reaction was at the press meet of the new movie Thangam.
‘Everyone sees the film in a different way. Everyone has a very personal opinion about a movie. Whether it is good or bad is the freedom of each person to accept. When I make a film, there is no point in a filmmaker insisting that everyone should see my film in the same way and react to it in the way I like. After watching the movie, everyone can express their opinions openly. How it affects them is very personal. I believe Babu Chetan has the freedom to say that,’ said Dileesh.
Evala Babu said that Mukundan Unni Associates movie is completely negative and he doesn’t know how it got censorship certificate. Iwala Babu said that no one is thanked in the film and wondered where the audience is going.
‘I am not repeating the dialogue in the climax. The language spoken by the heroine cannot be used here. This movie is full negative. So a movie ran here. Who has been devalued? For the audience or the filmmakers? It is a film where the producer got profit. I can’t think of a movie like that.
I called Vineeth Srinivasan and asked about this. This story was told to about seven heroes. No one was ready. But Vineeth cannot escape. Because the film was directed by Vineeth’s assistant. The director had faith that this film would run. “Rather than criticizing where the film is going, I am more surprised to see where the audience is going,” said Ahwala Babu. After the remark, there was a lot of criticism on social media.
