In Katharina Woll, her protagonist Ina has a job, a few patients, a boyfriend, an ex-husband, a teenage daughter and on top of that a mother with a birthday party. Everyone pursues their own goals, needs help, expects decisions, attention and relief. Ina, the psychotherapist, is there for everyone: “It’s okay!” or “I can do it!” are constant companions. The mother ruthlessly disrupts a therapy session, her boyfriend wants to take her to Finland for a job, the daughter threatens to move in with her father, and her doctor has no time to explain the new test results. While everyone else is important to Ina, she stands in AT WANT LOVED BECOME at the center, phenomenally portrayed by Anne Ratte-Polle. A comedy that never loses the fine line and lightness – only once, it gets really loud…
