Fler’s apartment
A few days ago, Fler’s former apartment went under the hammer. His legendary apartment at Billy Wilder Promenade 42 was officially auctioned off. The rapper himself has not lived at this address for years; due to a bank account being blocked, he had problems servicing his loan for the property.
For this reason, the property was now being bought at auction. The proceeds were used to pay off Fler’s outstanding tax debts to the tax office. What is particularly interesting, however, is the buyer – it is said to be none other than Bushido.
The 45-year-old rapper recently announced this in a video statement. The apartment was auctioned for 540,000 euros. Fler spoke up shortly afterwards and sarcastically congratulated his arch enemy on buying the apartment. But now it turns out: It’s not quite as it seems.
Bushido is not the buyer
Because, as the BZ now reports, Bushido is apparently not the buyer of the apartment. This is how the paper explains it after speaking to the new owners of the property. And they say they have nothing to do with Bushido, nor did they know who Fler is: “The new owners told the BZ that they only found out who the apartment belonged to after the auction. They also did not know the rapper beforehand.”
In addition, the apartment was apparently auctioned for 500,040 euros and not 540,000 euros. It looks as if Bushido was just joking with his announcement. This is also consistent with his choice of words in the original announcement of the apartment. There, Bushido suggested that he had bought the apartment: “There was a foreclosure auction today. Guess who won!”
However, it is now relatively clear that Bushido clearly did not buy the apartment. Instead, he seized the opportunity and trolled the entire rap scene. He did this quite well, because even Fler apparently did not know that the auction went to another bidder.
Incidentally, Fler also had his say in the same report. The 41-year-old was happy that his apartment was finally no longer an issue for him: “I’m glad the apartment is finally gone. My address has been circulating on the internet for years. The money goes to the tax office – in the end, everyone is happy!”
