Everyone is One – behind the scenes of the Olympics on Saturday mornings on Radio Kossuth

Kossuth Rádió’s Szombat reggel program will start a new Olympic section from April 20. From the compilation, students can gain insight into the preparation period from the perspective of athletes and background workers.

A sports psychologist, masseur, coach, a hopeful future Olympic team member, helpers and a member of the youth team will also speak in the Kossuth Radio in its new Olympic section. THE Saturday morning in its broadcasts, you can get to know more about the sports of the Olympics, which will start in less than a hundred days, including the numbers of Hungarian interest. With the help of the broadcasts, the students can find out what a fencing training is like in preparation for the Olympics, but they can also get to know the diets of top athletes.

A Everyone Agrees column’s first guest is biologist Máté Szász, under whose professional guidance his dietician colleagues create the special diet of the Olympians. According to the expert, a fundamental part of the preparation is proper nutrition, and they provide help to the athletes representing our country.

“Since every person is different, customized meals are key in elite sports. For this, we need to get to know the body’s needs and structure as thoroughly as possible. At least 5,000 marker lab tests are required, so we get an accurate picture of what kind of diet the given competitive athlete should follow in order to perform at his best. Thus, sports dietetics is preceded by diagnostic tests” – emphasized the expert.

During the preparation for the Paris Olympics Everyone Agrees column appears from behind the scenes every Saturday morning.

Saturday morning – public life and culture, sports and entertainment, festivals and gastronomy – news and programs on Saturdays between 6:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on Radio Kossuth.
