Every morning

The most attentive will have noticed. Since yesterday Every morning, just like the containers of generalist TV, it uses a device for “Massage” the plays: the spin-off. The morning broadcast of the free-to-air network of the Via Monte Penice broadcaster has officially split in two: Every morning and every morning after the news. A useless division for the public but functional to auditel purposes. Two parts named differently means, in fact, having the official detection of two data benefiting from the disparity in share between them.
Until last Friday 7 August the rotogravure, despite the monstrous duration and the interruption due to news, reported only one data (104,000 spectators equal to 1.2% on that occasion). But yesterday here comes the news. The data concerning Every morning refers to the part preceding the news, which runs from 10.00 to 11.55. The strategy, in relation to yesterday’s data, seems to work with the segment Every morning that by far exceeds 2% (first part: 117,000 spectators – 2.3%; second part: 123,000 – 1%) compared to an overall average of the program in the first weeks of around 1% (single figure for the two parts). But it is one Bait and switch which, moreover, highlights how the space after the news is a ballast for Volpe and Viola.
It is a pity, however, that that is also the most complicated part and for Tv8 commercially more attractive, given the large number of the audience (in the face of a collapse in the share, the number of spectators in the second part has risen). Moreover, even without division, yesterday’s episode would have achieved its record (the result of the mind-boggling ratings recorded on Sunday by Tv8?).
Tv8 seems to want to continue to invest in the project and have no intention, at least for now, to close the broadcast. It would certainly be desirable intervene on authorial writing more than resorting to certain stratagems, unless you are thinking of a revolution also in terms of time. After all, what is the sense of calling a program Every morning and start it at 10.00 and finish after 14? More than ‘Every Morning After the TG’ at this point it had to be called ‘Every Mezzogiorno’.
