Every Archewell project (Prince Harry and Meghan Markle) is coming to Netflix

Among the most important blanket deals Netflix has reached, none have made world headlines other than the Archewell Productions deal when it was announced by Netflix. Here’s a continual look at every project coming to Netflix featuring Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

First announced in September 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a comprehensive production agreement with Netflix with their newly formed production company. Some sources claimed they were offered $ 100 million for the deal.

The couple have gone through a tumultuous few years having left the Royal Family in favor of getting out of the royal limelight (aka Megxit).

Archewell’s website (which also lists the couple’s efforts outside of Netflix) states that Archewell will “use the power of storytelling to embrace our shared humanity and duty of truth through a compassionate lens.”

Obama’s deal with Netflix through its production company Higher Ground Productions also drew similar criticism, yet they have become incredibly productive for Netflix with 17 projects launched or currently in development.

Along with the announcement of the animated series, Meghan issued a statement with the following:

“Like many girls her age, our heroine Pearl is on a journey of self-discovery as she tries to overcome life’s daily challenges. I am delighted that Archewell Productions, in partnership with the powerful Netflix platform, and these incredible producers, is bringing you together this new animated series, celebrating extraordinary women throughout history. David Furnish and I were eager to unveil this special series and I am delighted to announce it today. “

Rumored Duchess of Cambridge Documentary

US Weekly (or US Magazine, as they are sometimes known) reported in mid-August 2021 that Duchess Kate and Meghan Markle had been talking about “collaborating” on a Netflix project.

Naturally, there is nothing confirmed in this case so pinch of salt, but they report that the couple are looking to work on a documentary that will “highlight Kate’s charity work and the great impact she has had with her philanthropy.”

The project looks a lot like the 2020 release of Becoming who followed first lady Michelle Obama as she toured the United States for her book launch.
