Everton have entered the race for Jesse Lingard’s signature. The Toffees are interested in signing the 29-year-old, British journalist Paul Joyce reports. Lingard is available on a free transfer as his contract with Manchester United was not renewed and expired on Friday.

Everton are looking for reinforcements in attack following the departure of key player Richarlison (25) to Tottenham Hotspur. West Ham United are also interested in Lingard. The 32-time England international played successfully on loan at the Hammers in the second half of the 2020/21 season.
