Rockfish Games has confirmed the exact release date for the console version of space action game Everspace 2. Previously known to be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series platforms in the summer, the developer has now announced the exact date, which is in August.
Specifically, Everspace 2 is coming to consoles on August 15, 2023, and to really get Xbox gamers excited, we can even expect Everspace 2 to debut on consoles as a Day 1 launch for Xbox Game Pass.
As for PlayStation players, while it won’t debut as part of the PS Plus library, those who subscribe to the service will get a 20% discount on the game, with Everspace 2 retailing for £49.99/€49.99 on both consoles.
On the topic of PlayStation, we’re told the game will take advantage of the power of the DualSense controller and will offer haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and speaker capabilities. Xbox and PlayStation players will also be pleased to hear that the game will also run at a silky-smooth 60 FPS.
