Tesla inaugurated on Friday April 8 a new giant factory in the United States: in Austin, the capital of Texas. Once again, billionaire boss Elon Musk has pulled out all the stops. Event resembling star concerts, 15,000 guests at the very least according to the local press.

The state-of-the-art factory in Texas should make it possible to launch production of the “Semi” electric truck in particular as of next year.

The company created in 2003 is today a cash machine in a luxury segment which poses less of a problem in times of crisis. It is the pure product of America First with, also, its tax advantages. The state of Texas, whose policies are very conservative, does not pay corporate taxes, so much money invested in innovation and induced jobs.

Despite the shortage of electronic chips, Tesla has delivered more than a million vehicles over the past twelve months. Its ambition is to increase its deliveries by an average of 50% per year. With its locations around the world, Tesla now has the perfect transatlantic axis to boost its sales and gain new market share.
