Be careful if you have to go to Rennes. a new social demonstration has been underway this Wednesday morning on the RN24 for about 6 hours, and is causing a slowdown, as specified by the road management in a press release:
“A social demonstration is underway on the RN24 in both directions of traffic at the height of the PR2 (crossroads with traffic lights) in the department of Ille et Vilaine (35).
- RN 24 direction Rennes towards Lorient, the demonstrators have set up a filtering dam and leaves one lane of traffic out of the usual three.
- RN24 direction Lorient towards Rennes, the demonstrators put a filter dam on the two traffic lanes.
This demonstration generates a plug of approximately 2 kms in the direction Rennes towards Lorient and in the direction Lorient towards Rennes a plug of several hundreds of meter.
The duration of the event is indefinite.
Be very careful when approaching and on the scene of the demonstration as well as on the detour route. »
