Events Straubenhardt community: Club Day

Keynote speech on the topic “Attracting and retaining volunteers. Bravely taking new paths” with subsequent exchange – registration by November 10th

Are you also noticing that it is becoming more difficult to attract committed people? More and more people no longer want to get involved in clubs or even accept a position on the board. How do you still get excited about volunteering like this?

Development coach Dirk Werhahn will give his keynote speech on the topic of “Attracting and retaining volunteers. Bravely taking new paths” will address this – at “Club Day” on Monday, November 18th at 6 p.m. in the Conweiler community center (Wagenweg 1, 75334 Straubenhardt). The impulse can provide clues as to how the situation can change. Three adjustment screws are highlighted that you as an association or initiative can turn so that people get involved with you: It’s about the activities, the people involved themselves and our structure. The whole thing is integrated into general social developments. Based on the findings, you can make initial considerations for your club during the conversation. After the impulse, the Ludwigsburg speaker will be available to answer questions and reflect.

Dirk Werhahn has a degree in business administration, a degree in social education and a master’s degree in governance social work. His diverse practical experience in the area of volunteer work includes, among other things, children’s and youth work in the church, political board work, work as a parish councilor and board member in a sports club (volunteering and organization department). He carried out research projects on volunteer work, is a lecturer at the Evangelical University of Ludwigsburg and a lecturer at the Academy of the State Youth Association. The information evening is organized by the municipality of Straubenhardt and is aimed at all interested clubs in Straubenhardt. Please register by November 10, 2024 at the latest (please send an email to [email protected] stating your name, club and number of participants). We look forward to an informative evening and exchange.
