The search for a missing 70-year-old man in Fåvang began on Thursday, after the man had been missing since Wednesday afternoon.
On Saturday morning, Mission Leader Jannicke Silseth Eide of the Innlandet Police District said he was still out with the crews and looking for missing persons. Both the National Guard, the Red Cross, the Norwegian Rescue Dogs, the Civil Protection and the police contributed to the search for the man.

At 4pm on Saturday afternoon, police tweeted that the missing man was found on Saturday morning. Death was confirmed by the health service.
Relatives have been notified.
