Everyone knows the song “The Sound of Silence”. The duo Graceland brings this and other songs by Simon & Garfunkel back to life. The two are successfully touring Germany with “A Tribute to Simon & Garfunkel”. They came up with the idea of combining the old classics with string ensembles, creating a completely new sound. So two voices sing, two guitars play and it plays a string quartet.
The Graceland duo will be coming to Haus Oberallgäu in Sonthofen on Friday, November 1st and to the Stadtsaal in Kaufbeuren on Saturday, November 2nd. It starts at 8 p.m., Tickets cost around 30 euros.
Here is the original: Simon & Garfunkel. The duo Graceland brings their music back to the stage in a slightly different format.
