They warned for several days
Vestfold and Telemark County Municipality Chief of Operations and Maintenance Trond Haugstad says he’s seen this space Christmas mood coming for a long time. They already warned the little Christmas Eve that this would happen.
– It’ll be hot in the lowlands, and we’ll have to see how it goes. It takes a toll on the crew to have things like this for more than several days at a time, he says and adds:
– Everyone is out and doing their best.
There were mixed conditions in Vestfold and Telemark. Haugstad says lots of rain and glass on the roads pose big challenges for plow crews. But they’re working to keep the roads open, but it’s hard to be on the road alone.
– There are also many train falls in the lower part of the county, and when going up a little higher. It’s a little more wintry there, and many of the trees are bent over with heavy snow, she says.
The case is up to date.
