A car with several people crashed into the water at Havnegata in Brevik on Wednesday evening. The emergency services were notified of the incident shortly before 10pm.

An informant tells TA that a lot of blue light appeared in the Stathelle / Brevik area at 10pm Wednesday evening. They would turn out to be the emergency services who had moved on a mission.

The head of police operations reports that there were three people in the car when it went into the water. It is not yet known why the car exited the dock on the spot.
The police on the spot reported that all the people in the car returned to the ground and were reported. There should be no doubt about any personal injury.
It is currently unknown whether the people have recovered on their own or if they have received help from others on the spot. The images sent to TA show that several people must have arrived at the scene after the accident.
The images also show that a large number of emergency services and rescue teams must have arrived on the scene.
