A 40-year-old woman died this Wednesday when her motorcycle collided with a truck on the N-340 as it passed through the Almassora (Castelln) industrial estate. She is the second fatality in a traffic accident on the same afternoon and the sixth in less than a week in the province of Castelln.
The incident occurred late in the afternoon of this Wednesday. A SAMU unit has mobilized to the place, which has confirmed the death of the 40-year-old woman right there, according to what health sources have informed Europa Press.
Also in Almassora, a few meters from this accident, there has been another collision between a truck and a motorcycle, but without fatalities. SAMU itself intervened, transferring a 26-year-old man with brain trauma to the General Hospital of Castell.
The fatality is the sixth person who has died in accidents in just under a week in the province of Castelln. On the afternoon of last Friday, three people died after being run over by a vehicle, whose driver was driving drunk, on Alcora avenue in Castell de la Plana, on Saturday morning another person died in a traffic accident on the CV-235 as it passes through the town of Sacaet.
Lastly, this same Wednesday, a cyclist died when he was run over while driving, also on the N-340, but in this case as he passed through the Castellón town of Oropesa.
