Unprepared, the corona pandemic forced the German school system to boost the digitization of schools and teaching. Many teachers and school administrators had to put new concepts of learning and teaching into practice on their own. It is clear that we must draw conclusions from the clearly recognizable failures.
As part of the “Digital for All” initiative organized Digital Days 2021 on Tuesday, June 18, we will deal with the question of how we can prepare and shape schools and learning for tomorrow in a future-oriented manner.
After a short Input from 2 p.m. we would like to discuss:
• How has everyday school and teaching life changed as a result of Corona? What went well and what didn’t?
• What are the opportunities and risks in the digitization of schools and teaching?
• How are the digital pact and the catch-up programs to be assessed?
• Which political framework conditions are (still) needed?
• What about equity in digital learning?
• Is educational federalism sustainable in its current form; has he proven himself?
