The events sector is responding positively to this announced relaxation. “We are even happier, that 75,000 is a high number. But what is especially important to us is that there is now also perspective for the broad sector and therefore also all smaller events,” says Bruno Schaubroeck, spokesperson for the events sector.
“We will of course continue to adhere to the very clear conditions to be able to organize the events. We believe that all tools and resources are on the table to start everything safely and responsibly. Protocols have been written that an organizer must adhere to, just like such as the visitors must adhere to a number of conditions.”
Schaubroeck concludes with a small stab at the test events that will still be organized for the time being. “It is actually illogical that a chef no longer has to prove that he can make mayonnaise when the restaurants reopen, we still have to prove that at the test events for the time being, but we will cooperate with the necessary seriousness.”
