Against the background of the so-called radical decree issued in 1972, there were also people affected by professional bans in Baden-Württemberg in the following years. Such a decision meant enormous cuts in the professional and private everyday life for the individuals affected. You still feel the consequences to this day. The purpose of the event is to bring the fate of those affected into the public spotlight and to discuss political rehabilitation. At the same time, there is still a debate today as to whether a kind of “access control” is needed again in selected areas of public service.
