Hours later, Deputy Andrés Celis denounced urban singer Cris MJ before the National Prosecutor for displaying a weapon through his social networks.
The parliamentarian pointed out that it is “extremely serious and it is my duty to make the corresponding complaint so that not only the weapon shown is investigatedthat we do not know if it is adapted or blank, but it is a weapon and it appears as such, but also that their sayings be clarified, since this lousy youth reference also boasts of having a weapons vault”.
The RN parliamentarian denounced Cris Mj for the Arms Control Law, mainly regarding the crimes of illegal carrying of weapons and illegal storage. The deputy also indicated that he filed the complaint due to “lThe lightness with which he displays the weapon and makes the threat is alarming and accounts for the climate of impunity for the carrying and use of these types of items currently, in a context marked by a security crisis that we are seeing in Chile where violence, weapons and organized crime are protagonists”.
