Not really friends with Cristiano Ronaldo, Mario Balotelli had no difficulty putting him aside in his dream team. Indeed, during a conversation in 2020, on Instagram with Thierry Henry, Super Mario was called by the former Arsenal player to make his dream team. And there, big surprise.
“At the top, I put Ronaldo, the Brazilian. And Messi. With them, it’s a great team.”, launched Mario Balotelli. Questionable choices, but normal according to Balotelli who nevertheless recognizes having dismissed legends.
“To be honest, I left out a lot of people who could have been in the team. Even you (Thierry Henry), I left you out and I liked the way you played. I forgot you, Cristiano Ronaldo, (Paolo) Maldini, (Marco) van Basten, Maradona… it’s impossible to make a good team.”
