Inter Milan start a journey in Italian League 2021/2022 with sip. The winning mentality has already formed in the Nerazzurri squad.
Inter are the 2021/2022 Italian League champions under the command of coach Antonio Conte. After ending Inter’s decade-long Scudetto title drought, Conte left.
Achraf Hakimi and Romelu Lukaku also left the city of Milan because the club needed an injection of funds. There was concern that Inter would not be able to defend the title.
Under the direction of Simone Inzaghi, Inter got off to a good start. La Benemata swept clean in the first two games by scoring seven goals and conceding just once.
Inter wing back, Matteo Darmian, judging that the winning mentality has been formed in the Inter squad. Inzaghi also had no trouble continuing the work left by Conte by adding his ideas.
“We want to start in the best way, despite many changes. We have created a solid group and a winning mentality. Inzaghi has brought his ideas, continues Conte’s work,” Darmian told Sky Sport Italia.
“We try to put into practice what he tells us. The pitch will say if we are favorites to win the league, we can only work and think about ourselves.”
Edin Dzeko was brought in by Inter from AS Roma as a replacement for Lukaku, who became the goal machine last season. The 35-year-old striker has so far scored one goal and one assist in the league.
“Dzeko and Lukaku are different players, but they are both very strong. I’m sure Edin will help us this season by scoring a lot of goals,” said the former Manchester United defender.
