On the terrace of café Roste Mon, parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters gathered under umbrellas for a joint breakfast on Sunday morning. An hour later the priest came for the actual celebration.
“Everyone sat at a separate table with their bubbles. When we got up, we put on a face mask. Completely according to the rules, ”says mum Jolene De Mol. “But still a bit more festive than how it would be in the church.” There it was initially said that only the parents would be allowed to go to the celebration. “That grandparents were not allowed to go, until then. But even the brothers and sisters were not allowed to enter the church. That was only adjusted after we had searched and found an alternative. It was very atmospheric. ”
