Even Belgian Euromillions winner doesn’t have enough money to buy this estate

The 7-hectare estate The Terraces is part of Mustique. That Caribbean island was bought in its entirety in 1958 by a Briton who paid just £45,000 for it. Since then it has grown into one of the most exclusive locations where world stars such as Mick Jagger, George Clooney and Kate Middleton like to come on holiday.

Maybe they were staying in this posh villa from 1986 that was put up for sale this week for no less than 200 million dollars, the equivalent of just under 190 million euros. With such an asking price, the brand new Belgian winner of the Euromillions jackpot does not even have enough money.

You can judge for yourself whether the house is worth its money. These are the most important features of the estate: thirteen bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a breakfast and dining room, a dining terrace, a cinema, game room, elevator, party room… Outside there are two swimming pools, the largest of which is 80 meters long, an equally impressive pond at the reception hall, a bar, tennis court, lush gardens, spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean…

Don’t forget the beautiful ceiling paintings by the French artist Jean-Claude Audenin. Together with the Venetian style elements, they form an ode to the 16th-century Italian palaces. Interested and financially strong enough? Then you can turn to international broker Knight Frank for negotiations.
