‘Big brother’ has again said goodbye to a resident. The second Dutch, because Eveline (38) has to leave the house in Amsterdam after an eventful week. The viewer has chosen to let Nawel and Julio stay. The farewell brought tears.

“I’m actually happy to go home,” Eveline says in a first reaction to Peter Van de Veire. “I would have loved to stay, but it is certainly nice to be at home. I’ll let my friends here miss Nouchine and Nawel. I’m going to miss them, they’ve really dragged me through the past few weeks. I will not miss Vera and Salar”, she answers honestly to Peter’s question. “The first thing I’m going to do now is cuddle with my dog and Bas.” Whoever she thinks will win: “Nouchine!”

Eventful week

Last week it was ‘Break-up week’ in Big brother. And it was moving to say the least. A wall was placed in the middle of the house, dividing the group into two – team gold and team green. The young couple Vera and Dimitri separated. On top of that, Vera also received terrible news from the home front: her grandfather passed away suddenly. Fortunately, the groups were reunited afterwards, and Vera could count on Dimitri’s comfort. Including a big hug, and a very pleasant night.

Also for Tobias it was a week to remember for an unfortunate reason. He sprained his foot while exercising and had to be taken to the emergency room. He is currently in quarantine. He has a small fracture in his foot, but he is doing well. “Luckily, you can get a plaster cast off again next Friday,” he says in the show. “It’s a tear at the ankle in the bone.” Then he was allowed to wave about the video call to his fellow residents in the house.
