Evezari’s greatest competitiveness is that it has incorporated the unique strengths of natural materials into bedding. Natural fibers are superior to artificial fibers in terms of their ability to absorb or release sweat and heat, and their breathability. It is less irritating to sensitive skin and helps you sleep better. To maximize these advantages, Evezary established the Sleep Environment Research Center in 2003 and has been conducting research related to natural fibers. To further improve the quality of sleep, this research institute is pursuing joint research with leading domestic and international universities, research institutes, hospitals, Korea Sleep Center, and Japan Lofty.

Based on the expertise it has accumulated over many years, the Sleep Environment Research Institute is introducing bedding using various natural materials such as Korean paper, modal, and hemp. As new products for this fall/winter season, about 50 types of bedding, including ‘Truth’ and ‘Floae’ using Korean paper and modal, were released.

Truth is a Korean paper fiber bedding made from mulberry tree, which has excellent antibacterial properties, excellent breathability, and is less irritating to the skin. The name of Mauritius, an island in the Indian Ocean that is considered a representative resort, was embroidered as a highlight. Floae is made from a blend of modal and cotton extracted from beech trees and maintains a soft texture and vivid color for a long time. A pattern depicting orange lilies and green leaves as if drawn using watercolor techniques was applied.

Bedding made of natural materials like this has been attracting more attention recently as value consumption and environmentally conscious lifestyles have emerged as trends. The advantage of the bedding made from vegetable fiber that Evezari is focusing on is that it is biodegradable even when the product is disposed of later, as it goes through a non-polluting process. The goal is to strive to create a healthy sleeping environment while pursuing a virtuous cycle through eco-friendly products.

House dust mite research projects are also being carried out steadily. A representative example is the development of a special processing method with antibacterial properties using natural ingredients and its introduction into products. For example, Polygene is an effective processing method for suppressing the growth and growth of various bacteria, mold, etc. This is a method using silver salt (Agcl) extracted from natural silver. It blocks the breeding of house dust mites at the source and also boasts a powerful odor removal function. There is also ‘N-Bio’ processing using rose geranium, a natural substance that mites avoid. Evezary applies this to bedding to prevent access to harmful bacteria.

In addition, we are paying attention to wool, a natural functional material. Yvesary, which has been expanding its use of wool since last year, strengthened its wool material lineup this fall and winter. ‘Of Knee’, a new product from Evezari in the second half of this year, is bedding made with high-quality 100% Australian wool as a filling. When you sleep, you can have a comfortable sleep due to the material characteristics of wool, which is less affected by the outside air and absorbs and radiates moisture well. The outer material is made of high-density washed cotton, giving a crunchy feel reminiscent of hotel bedding. It has a flower pattern that gives a fresh feeling as if you were in a forest.
