Evangeline Lilly wants an all-female A-Force movie to happen

During an interview for Ant-Man and the Wasp: QuantummaniaLead actress Evangeline Lilly has revealed she’d like to make a A force the movie happens

When asked if she would be interested in a full program A force film similar to the female scene of Avengers endingLilly responded enthusiastically.

“I’d like to be there,” Lilly said. CinePOP. “I would like to make it! That day we shot the scene Game over, where it was just us ladies, it was the most special day I’ve ever had. It was possibly the most special day I’ve ever had filming a Marvel movie. There was that and then there was my 42nd birthday where I was shooting a scene with Michelle Pfeffer, Michael Douglas and Bill Murray. They were both fantastic.”

Lilly was then asked who she would like on the team and she replied, “All women. Each of them. Every women”.

Finally, when asked who she would like to be the villain of the film, the actress said she was out of step with Marvel’s curiosities, but that she would have chosen Thanos.

“We did it inside Game overbut then it ended up being Captain Marvel, who did it all by himself,” Lilly joked. “I’d love to see that group effort of 10 women surrounding him and bringing him to his knees.”

A-Force is Marvel’s first all-female Avengers team, debuting in 2015. In the beginning, the team was led by She-Hulk and included heroes like Captain Marvel, Emma Frost, and Jubilee.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania is directed once again by Peyton Reed from a screenplay written by Jeff Loveness. The sequel to the superhero action comedy will be released on February 17, 2023.
