The NHL hockey team suspended San Jose Sharks’ Evander Kane for 21 games for violating the covid protocol.
The 30-year-old “shark” wing presented himself as a fully vaccinated player, but later it became clear that he had a fake vaccination card. Kane can return to the action no earlier than November 30 in a match against New Jersey.
“I would like to apologize to my teammates, the San Jose Sharks and all fans for violating the NHL covid protocol. I made a mistake that I regret and am ready to take full responsibility. After the sentence, I plan to return to hockey with great enthusiasm, determination and love, “ declared Kane, who was the team’s most productive player last year with 49 points (22 goals and 27 assists).
