The preseason didn’t start well for Evan Mobley. The young player from Cleveland reported a sprained right ankle in training, a disorder that will keep him out of any activity for a week or two; reports Shams Charania’s Atletico.
While this is a setback at the end of the group’s preparation for the 2022-23 academic year, the truth is that there should be no worries in the Cavaliers, as this is a minor issue that shouldn’t stop the second-year player from ‘be present on the day of the inauguration.
For Ohioians, this is a more than exciting campaign. Last year they gave a spectacular image and in the face of one starting in just over two weeks they added an All-Star like Donovan Mitchell. If the youngsters grow up – Mobley among them – and Mitchell is at his usual level, they should be one of the established order shakers in the Eastern Conference and the NBA.
