Evaluating Kobo vs Boox eReaders: Is Darkish Mode Higher for Studying at Evening?

I’ve a kobo reader that does not assist darkish mode. However I’m very curious in regards to the experiences with this. Is it higher to learn at night time if you happen to use darkish mode? perhaps simpler on the eyes? I’ve lights in my Kobo (I assume Boox has that as nicely) and spot that it’s typically a bit extra drained, though I’ve made the background extra mild yellow.

I’ve been in search of a substitute for my 7.8 inch Kobo for some time now and I preserve listening to good issues about Boox.

edit: I solely miss the 8 inch measurement with the Boox, they’ve a 6 and a 7 that are simply too small for my style, after which the ten inch which is just too large
edit2: the ONYX BOOX Tab Mini has a 7.8 inch display that I can see.
