A rescue helicopter has picked up a sick passenger from the Danish boat Bergensfjord.

At 02.18 on Sunday night, the Main Rescue Center Southern Norway (HRS) received a request from the Danish rescue service to assist with the evacuation of the passenger.
A rescue helicopter from Sola has been requisitioned for the assignment, HRS reports on Twitter at 03.27. The ship was then south of Mandal.
At 04.48, HRS informs that the passenger has been picked up from the ship and flown to Sola, where health personnel will take over.
Bergensfjord belongs to Fjord Line and runs between Bergen, Stavanger and Hirtshals.
