Real life: everyone defines it somewhat differently. For the American actress Eva Longoria – known from Desperate Houwewives, among others – it means that she has to go for a walk. On Tiktok, the actress shared a video in which she sets off on foot to the Dolby Theater, where the Oscar ceremony took place. Quite a feat, we admit: in meter-high heels and with the train of her Tamara Ralph dress in her hands. “Real life, I literally walked to the Oscars,” she wrote. “So not delivered to your door by a fancy car.” What she did not say is that the walk was a plan B: pro-Palestinian demonstrators had created a traffic jam, so she could not continue by car. Life can be hard when you wear high heels. A pair of sneakers might have come in handy.
Dreaming with Max and Elodie… and Ye
Sometimes life is like a dream come true: just last year, Belgian designer Glenn Martens became a single father of twins. Now he is celebrating his tenth anniversary as creative director of Y/Project with a new collection and a special shoot, to which he invited not only well-known models, but also members of his team, family and friends: his own father can be seen in the shoot. alongside Oscar and the Wolf singer Max Colombie and Elodie Ouedraogo. They are in the company of none other than Ye, who appears completely dressed in black. Hopefully Martens will not go into business with his Yeezy sneakers.

Life has ups and downs, actor Stefaan Degand can talk about that. He recently realized a childhood dream by conducting Brahms’ Fourth Symphony with the Belgian National Orchestra for the television program Maestro Degand. If he has already lost sleep over this, there is no immediate improvement, because Degand (45) and his girlfriend Elien Hanselaer (34) welcomed a daughter on March 10 who was named Ceres Nox. So he will have sleepless nights for a while. Ceres Nox is Degand’s second daughter. In 2017, Degand’s then partner died unexpectedly from meningitis. She was pregnant with their second child at the time. Their eldest daughter Mila is now 9.
