“Eva Kusuma Sundari Leaves PDIP for NasDem: Party Speaks Out”

Politician Eva Kusuma Sundari decided to leave the PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) to the Party NasDem. PDIP East Java spoke about the transfer of one of its cadres.

“With the East Java PDI Perjuangan DPD institution, (Eva Sundari) never coordinated with him about his departure to another party,” said Acting Chairperson of the East Java PDIP DPD Budi ‘Kanang’ Sulistyono as reported detikJatimMonday (15/5/2023).

Kanang admitted that he had not communicated with Eva Sundari. He also does not know why Eva Sundari changed parties. Because without coordination, Eva Sundari would definitely be fired.

“Because without coordination or resignation, the person concerned (Eva Sundari) will definitely be fired,” he said.

Eva is known to be a former member of the DPR RI PDIP 2014-2019 and most recently in 2019, Eva won a candidate for the DPR RI from PDIP in the East Java VI Dapil (District-Kediri City, Regency-Blitar City, Tulungagung).

“Thank God, a party cadre with this character left PDI Perjuangan on his own. Of course, it is everyone’s political right to jump anywhere,” said Kanang.
