Pax was in the Videoland series The World of Eva to see for the first time. In it, the presenter says, among other things, that she thinks motherhood is the most beautiful and most important role of her life. The downside is that she leaves her son with guilt every day when she goes to work.
“In the months that I present my talk show daily, everything in my life revolves around that evening’s broadcast and that starts early in the morning at 7 am when I start reading and it finally ends at 2 am. at night when I sleep. Every time I walk out the door, I feel something gnawing at me.”
“Are you going to work?” Pax asks his famous mom. “I go to work, yes.” Then Eva’s son indicates that he does not like that. “No, I get that, honey, but you have to.” And then he yells, “Mommy, no.”

“It’s kind of like my heart is on a string that’s being pulled all the time to remind me that I’m not doing something right. And I know what that is. That’s my guilt. And it makes no sense at all” , Eva tells about the feeling that grips her.
She has everything well organized at home. “My husband Dexter is home to take care of Pax. And there is no better father than Dexter. There is no other man who cares more for his child. And yet it eats at me.”
She pulls out all the stops to release that guilt. “Sometimes I pretend I forgot my keys to go back home. To give Pax another kiss. And then I walk out the door and that feeling starts all over again.”
