In her newsletter, Eva writes that she has been to her gynaecologist. There, Eva was approached by a colleague who finds it ‘a ridiculous situation’ that people have an opinion about Eva’s pregnancy. “I smile at her, because yes … what to say? The doctor advises her that there may be more important things for Eva. “The moment she says that, it feels like I’m taking off a musty old coat. Maarten said in his podcast that he thinks the age difference of Eva’s son Pax and the second child is big, despite Eva saying she liked that Pax has a buddy to play with. Maarten has now explained his words in more detail. “If children are five years apart, then the oldest child is in sixth grade of secondary school and the youngest child is just starting. Those are completely different worlds. So yes, that’s what my comment was about. Nothing could be further from the case than my desire to hurt or to criticize,” said Maarten.
