Actress Eva Green has emerged victorious in her legal battle against White Lantern Film, the company that abandoned her film. The 42-year-old star of Bond movie Casino Royale sued the company for her million-dollar fee, which she was owed for her role in the film. White Lantern Film countersued, claiming Green had reneged on the contract by refusing to perform and making “excessive creative and financial demands”. The case revealed WhatsApp messages where Green used inappropriate language to describe members of the film team. Nevertheless, the judge found in Green’s favour, awarding her the $1m fee she was owed.
