Eva Hermans-Kroot (26), known from the program ‘Over My Corpse’, is not doing well. She was recently told that she had completed her treatment and for the past week she has been suffering from increasing complaints. She believes that she has now entered the last phase of her life, she writes on Instagram.
“I know that the time of death is drawing nearer now”
“The moment you hope will never come has arrived,” wrote Eva, who was told in March 2021 that she has lung cancer. “I have been suffering from dizziness, fatigue, pain, shortness of breath and nausea for a week now. I knew it would happen one day, but it still felt controversial.’
Eva had made all kinds of fun plans for today, including lunch with Els from the show B&B Full of love. But in consultation with the hospital, she had to cancel everything. ‘Because I just feel really bad.’
Eva didn’t feel like going to the hospital, but her doctor came by. “All the complaints I’m reporting just show tumor growth and that worries me. Next Monday I will call my doctor to see if we can do something about the pain in my lung.’
She then comes to a sad decision. “For now I just feel like crap and spend more time with my eyes closed than open. I know that the time of death is getting closer now, but since things were going so well three weeks ago, I did not expect this. I think I’m really entering the final stages now.’
