“The person I’ve been waiting for all my life, my real one,” says Eva about her new friend. “He is perfect in everything. He is also a very smart man.”
The two met through Eva’s work – she works in the field of car cleaning, and the acquaintance was curious.
Alex is the first man she has introduced to her family since Eva’s divorce. “We spent Christmas with him and my parents, my family,” says the participant of Lauku seta. They also visited a favorite restaurant in Bauskas together.
Alex is Ukrainian. Seven years ago, the man moved to Latvia, but his offspring remained in Ukraine. The son is at the front and defends the homeland from the invaders, and Alex is very worried about his children who remained in Ukraine, and Eva is going through it with her and at the same time, as much as she can, she is trying to support her loved one.
For now, Alex spends his working days in Riga, but the two spend their holidays together in Bauska. “We want to be together,” shares Eva.
