Even in hospitals it is not all doom and gloom. Two weeks ago Eva Daeleman (30) gave birth to Moon, her first child. The former VRT announcer herself announced this via Instagram.

“Oh my, how beautiful,” Daeleman begins her post. “Moon (with tall oo) Heymans. We are so in love. On each other and on her. Our sweet girl has been turning our world upside down for two weeks. And how delicious she is. ”
For Daeleman and her husband Stijn it is their first child together. At the beginning of this year, the couple said that they had a miscarriage in the past. “The moment it happened, I felt very lonely,” said Daeleman in her podcast You are never alone. “There is such an invisible thing in your stomach that you have been in love with for months and suddenly it disappears, even if it is not there yet. That is a great loss. We were just under twelve weeks pregnant, but this leaves scars. ”
But now there is only cause for joy. It is raining congratulations on Instagram. Daeleman also thanks the hospital staff. “You don’t give birth alone. So grateful to the wonderful team of AZ Damiaan, our gynecologist, the sweetest midwives, cleaning ladies, maternity assistant, our doulas and of course my husband. ”
