The voting system is being restructured ahead of the Eurovision 2024 final to be held in Malmö, Sweden, according to a decision by those in charge.
Until this year, the voting process allowed viewers to vote for their favorite bands only after completion of all appearances, in the semi-finals and the final.
If the changes go ahead voting will begin at the start of this year’s competition, allowing fans to vote throughout.

At the same time, viewers from countries not participating in the competition, such as the USA, are now expected to have the opportunity to participate in the voting process.

«We want to provide an opportunity for viewers to engage from the startAdielsson explained, emphasizing the desire to allow instant voting for favorite performances.

This adjustment offers these countries an earlier opportunity to present their projects, potentially garnering wider support before the final.
