The clock is counting down and in a few hours we will know which country will win this year’s 68 competitionher Eurovision 2024, taking place in Malmö, Sweden.
It is the seventh time that Sweden has hosted the competition, having done so in 1975, 1985, 1992, 2000, 2013 and 2016, and judging by what we saw in the two quarter-finals, the spectacle will be spectacular.
The stage inside the Malmö Arena was designed by German Florian Winter with Sweden’s Fredrik Storbjing handling the lighting and screen content.
LED floors, moving cubes, video stage, create a 360 degree experience for the viewers around a cross shape.
The intro – postcard – videos will be 40 seconds long, allowing time for the next act to prepare for the stage.
The Swedish comedian Petra Miande together with the American-Swedish actress Malin Akerman kept the rhythm of the night in the semi-finals with jokes and clever jokes, raising the bar of expectations.
The order of appearance of the 26 countries in the grand final
A few hours after the second semi-final, the order in which the participating countries will appear in the grand final of Eurovision, on Saturday 11 May, was announced.
The process was uploaded on Eurovision’s Instagram page.
Greece will compete in the 12the position after the 1st half draw drawn on Friday morning by Marina Satti, while in 20the position will be contested by Cyprus with Silia Kapsi.
