The end of the selection season is coming! Saturday 11 March will be the day of the national finals in the last two countries. Where will we go this time? Final Song Festival. There are no technical glitches, just happy accidents.
Technical problems in collecting audience votes in the first Portuguese semi-final resulted in the broadcaster RTP decided to promote an additional seventh artist to the finals. For this reason, in the final we will see not 12, but 13 participants. The show that will select the representative of Portugal will take place on Saturday, March 11 at 10:00 p.m. The winner will be decided by a 50:50 vote of the judges and the audience. They will be leading Filomena Caution, Vasco Palmeirim i Inês Lopes Gonçalves. We will see the broadcast HERE.

Final twelve Melodifestivalen will present themselves during the final show, which will take place at the Friends Arena in Stockholm on Saturday, March 11 at 20:00. The winner will be chosen by the judges and the audience in a 50:50 ratio. They will be leading Jesper Rönndahl and Farah Abadi. The stream will be available HERE.

This year’s edition Melodifestivalen will be the fourth winner of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012 – of flowers, which dominates the betting tables (82% chance of winning according to data from eurovisionworld.com). It is worth noting that Sweden is now also the bookmakers’ favorite to win Eurovision alone (34% chance of winning against 14% of Ukraine and Finland). So there are many indications that we are witnessing Loreen’s march for the Eurovision double. So far, only Johnny Logan, who won the Irish Grand Prix in 1980 and 1987, has managed to do so. Eurovision 2023: what do we know?
We already know that Eurovision 2023 will take place 9, 11 i 13 houses 2023 year at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, with 37 countries performing. Compared to the previous year, this will be the first Eurovision in years without a representative North Macedonia. Due to the energy crisis, the broadcasters also resigned from the launch Bulgaria i Montenegro.
So far, they have already chosen their representatives 35 out of 37 countries. Interestingly, Eurovision 2023 will be the first competition in years with changes to the voting system. Only the viewers will decide who will advance to the finals. For the first time, the choice of the winner of Eurovision will be influenced by fans of the contest from around the world, who will be able to vote online.
